Back to School


This past week the husband and I went back to school. We bought a new cooking book and this is how we spent our Saturday.



Fresh tomatoes from the local Farmer's market. X on top and then blanched for a few minutes.



Peeled tomatoes.



Making a marinara sauce that smelled SO GOOD!





Now for the homemade ravioli and chocolate souflee.












We were cooking from about 1:30pm until 7pm. The pasta dough had to "rest" for 1.5 hours before rolling out and cutting the ravioli. This was our finished meal. It was so good I am still dreaming about it 2 days later.
